After a lot of rumors and few leaks, Razer officially unveiled the Razer Phone today. In specs department, the Razer Phone has a Sharp IGZO-produced 5.7″ QHD LCD panel with UltraMotion (120Hz) refresh rate technology which means there will be no ghosting, no motion blur. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 8GB RAM and 64GB of storage storge. Razer also featured a dual 12MP rear-facing camera (wide angle + 2x telephoto). The device is backed by 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+. One single hour of charge can charge your device from 0% to 85%). In term of audio, the device is equipped with 24-bit DAC, it rocking dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos powered by individual amplifiers, THX certification. Razer phone will run Android “Nougat.”.
With specs this strong the device doesn’t have an IP certification rating. It also lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, but an adapter dongle is included with the phone in the box.
According to Razer the software experience on the device will be pretty much stock Android. This is the first device to launch with the Nova Launcher Prime pre-installed. Yes, you heard it right.
The Razer Phone will be available in the US starting November 17 online or exclusively at Microsoft stores. And it is priced at $699.
