HMD Global has announced a new Nokia branded Android smartphones in China, the Nokia 7. This is the first mid-range device form the company which showcases glass and metal unibody construction. Nokia 7 also comes with ‘Bothie’ functionality which was first introduced in the Nokia 8.
The Nokia 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset along with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB of onboard storage; on the other hand, the 6GB RAM variant comes with 128GB storage. You can also expand the storage via microSD card. Nokia 7 is backed by a 3000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. The phone is also IP54 certified; Nokia 7 runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Nokia 7 featured a 5.2 inches Full HD IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass protection. The primary camera which is a 16MP shooter with 1.12µ pixels and f/1.8 aperture and the secondary camera is a 5MP shooter with 1.14µ pixels and f/2.0 aperture.
The Nokia 7 is priced at RMB 2,499(₹24567, $377) for the 4GB / 64GB variant and RMB 2,699(₹26533, $408) for the 6GB / 128GB variant. Nokia 7 will be available in Gloss Black and Matte White color variants. The sale will start from October 24 at the moment HMD Global did not reveal anything about the international availability of the Nokia 7 yet. But we are assuming that the device will be available in India and rest of the Asia region in 2018.
